Child Protection Policy

“Let the children come to me and do not stop them, because the Kingdom of God belongs to such as these.” Luke 18:19

St. Mark Lutheran Church recognizes that the church should be a safe place where children are welcomed and nurtured in the Christian faith. As a result, the church has instituted a Child Protection Policy, which includes:

• • Training of all staff and volunteers
  • Background checks of all staff and volunteers
  • Written policy that is clear, concise and available to all
  • Ongoing oversight
  • Commitment of Mission Council and Pastor

Copies of the Child Protection Policy are available in the Church Narthex and at the front desk of the Preschool.
